What do you do when it's 100 degrees outside with 5 sweet kiddos? Have an ice cream social of course!! We recently had a play date with some close friends, and after the kids were done playing out at the pool I thought, why not have a little party? So I ran to Publix and grabbed the easiest and most delicious choices: Breyers® Ice Cream and Sara Lee® Frozen Desserts, some fun toppings, lots of napkins and threw together a last minute night of fun!
Why Sara Lee and Breyers? Well they're both made with real, quality ingredients and they taste superb. Plus, what's better than fresh vanilla ice cream and frozen buttery pound cake? Not much in mind. The kids agreed! We set out plastic bowls, spoons, and some fun toppings like whipped cream and sprinkles and let them go to town. It was really messy, slightly hectic, and worth every minute.
Look at those sweet faces! Obviously lots of fun was had, many outfits were changed due to chocolate/and or sprinkle spillage, and the kids had a nice little sugar high to run off afterwards.
