If you've been following for any time at all, you know I am a HUGE supporter of small businesses. Specifically mama-owned and run endeavors like Joleen Pete Photography and Painted Earth Skincare. Both of these amazing women are close friends of mine and true Amazons. They run their successful businesses while also being moms, wives, and true friends. I am amazed by them, so when I heard about the Small Biz event hosted by The UPS Store in Atlanta I had to go!
It was an eye opening evening in which I really got to appreciate all of the sweat and tears that go into owning a small business. There were numerous speakers, from the President of the Southeast chain of The UPS Stores, to the owner and brainchild behind King of Pops. The bottom line? Small businesses are the back bone of our economy and by supporting them, we're supporting our own country's growth. So next time you have the choice between a big name and a small biz? Support Small!
