Pink and Gold Shower

Here is the last part in the Pink and Gold Wedding Shower series.  If you want to see the previous two posts, go here and here.  This was one of my favorite showers to plan.  Why?  Well besides it being for one of my best friends, pink and gold are just gorgeous together!  Especially with a little glitter thrown in.

The best thing you can do for a shower is to customize it to the guest of honor.  In this case, I knew the bride would love a gorgeous cake.  I looked high and low for a designer that would understand what I wanted and provide both the best-tasting and best-looking cake.  I finally found Gloria the Cake Lady, and I will only use her from here on out.  She brought my idea to life and made it taste like heaven!  The icing on the cake(pun intended)? The bride's look of joy when she saw her little masterpiece.  Thank you Gloria!!

The dessert table was super simple.  I just punched out circles from gold, pink, and black glitter paper.  Some I used to decorate the table covers, and others I placed on string and draped across the back.  Then two cute signs to liven it up, a couple balloons and done!  The chalkboard on the right I made using my HP sprout here.

And the food table!  Again super simple.  The Entertaining Shoppe provided the gold tassel garland and fancy favor bags.  Beautiful touches that both made the shower and warmed the bride's heart.  I've worked with The Entertaining Shoppe before, and will continue to in the future as they have my heart.  Every time we collaborate they're fun, understanding, and so creative!
