Ok so many of you have asked about the Sprout since our little video last week on Instagram, so I thought I'd share one of the fun projects we've done. If you don't know about this new HP project- here's an amazing video showcasing it's abilities HERE.
In the above photo, you can see this fun new addition to our family. I named her Marva because she's marvelous ;) The touch mat and the main screen are both touch pads. And for all my mommy friends worried about grubby little fingers- both are easily wiped clean. The camera on top of the computer is a 14.6 MP camera and both a 2D and 3D scanner. Then there's all the nerdy specs: i7-4790S processor and a 8 GB DDR3-1600 memory. Other HP users have used this ground-breaking technology to do a wide range of things: scan in one of their paintings to turn it into a gorgeous dress, scrapbook a trip, create a sprinkle garland, or put together an eye-catching presentation for a client. Think of all the possibilities!!
There are loads of fun apps for kids: piano playing, Crayola coloring, DJ spinning fun. I may or may not have stayed up all night just playing with those! But, Hudson and I wanted to make something special for his grandparents for Valentine's day. So I let him paint to his hearts content.
Then we scanned in his masterpiece. It took about 5 seconds for a perfect copy to pop up on the screen. We got to manipulate it, add a cute V-day pic and Ta-Daaa an original Valentine's card. This was so simple and fun to make! I have a couple showers coming up and I can't wait to show you what I create for those. In the meantime, here's a video of just how easy this computer is to use:
