We had a fall fabulous weekend! First, we went pumpkin picking on Thursday. This kid loved running around all the pumpkins and yelling "pun" at them. And then he found the Koi pond. Now most kids would be afraid of 2 and 3 feet long giant goldfish, but not my nugget. He JUMPED in. Yes you read that correctly. Jumped right in and tried to pet the fish. Which got us kicked out of the pumpkin patch. I couldn't help but laugh!
Thank goodness I bought our pumpkins before we got booted because that afternoon we painted and glitterfied them! Anyways, I picked up some washable kids paint and lots of glitter. Then we went outside, clothing optional for Huddy, and got to work!
I gave him small and large brushes, sponges, and also let him use his fingers to paint his masterpieces. Then, we dumped glitter all over them. I've never seen this kid laugh so hard! He was so happy that he started dancing in the middle of the driveway :)
Definitely Picasso worthy, right?
On Saturday we went to the Fall festival and had a great time! Hudson wasn't too thrilled with the scarecrows in the parade (above picture) but loved the band! The also had a mini putting green where we spent the majority of the time. I think he's going to be a golfer- don't you?
